Folk Electro Acoustic Guitar
The all-mahogany Grand Concert body, topped with a solid red cedar top on the Taylor 512ce Next Generation, creates a balanced, responsive and particularly nuanced instrument. Its warm response, natural definition and extended resonance bring out every note with beautiful clarity, whatever the playing intensity. The natural finishes, refined inlays and details in ebony and abalone complement its elegant aesthetic, with just enough character to remind us that a guitar knows how to make itself heard without uttering a single word.

Presentation
The western red cedar top on the Taylor 512ce Next Generation delivers a smooth and detailed response, with a rich reproduction of nuances and excellent sensitivity to touch. The combination with the mahogany back and sides promotes a clear tonal foundation, supported by prominent mid-range tones and articulation that remains distinct across the entire range.
At the heart of the design, Taylor’s sculpted V-Class bracing helps to broaden the soundstage and enhance sustain, whilst maintaining good separation between notes. This design also allows for greater range in dynamic variation, without compromising the precision characteristic of the Grand Concert body style.
The Grand Concert body shape, in particular, retains compact dimensions whilst featuring a full-size soundbox, which ensures a comfortable playing experience when seated. The 632 mm (24.875") scale length, slightly shorter than the standard 25.50", contributes to a noticeable sense of comfort during extended playing sessions.
The Claria electronics accurately reproduce the acoustic characteristics thanks to a design combining a sensor and a preamp. The controls integrated into the soundhole remain discreet whilst allowing for quick adjustments. This configuration is suitable for situations requiring amplification or recording, with a faithful reproduction of the instrument’s tonal balance.
The finishing touches play a major role in the instrument’s overall visual identity, with a natural gloss finish on the body, a satin-finished neck and contrasting purfling. The green abalone soundhole, Meridian inlays and tortoiseshell-effect pickguard combine to create a natural colour scheme enhanced by several carefully integrated decorative details.

To look after your acoustic guitar, remember to change the strings regularly (at least 3 or 4 times a year) to maintain the sound it had when you first bought it.
When it comes to maintenance, remember to use a microfibre cloth and a product specifically formulated for varnished finishes to preserve the appearance of the surfaces.
A humidifier can also be a useful addition when ambient conditions vary significantly throughout the year.
