Presentation
Taylor's 324ce Next Generation is based on a Grand Auditorium format that maintains a stable balance between projection and control, allowing you to move from precise finger picking to more direct pick attacks without noticeable tonal imbalance or prolonged ear fatigue.
The combination of neo-tropical mahogany top and solid sapele back and sides creates a response centred on the midrange, with solid fundamentals and even harmonic sustain throughout the length of the neck.
This construction makes for clear reading of complex chords and consistent articulation, which will serve both rhythmic accompaniments and melodic phrases played in several registers.
The scalloped V-Class bracing built into the 324ce has a direct effect on vibratory energy management, increasing overall projection while maintaining appreciable intonation stability in both open and raised positions.
This internal architecture also supports homogeneous sustain, which naturally prolongs the notes held, even when played moderately, and contributes to a pleasant sensation of sonic continuity under the fingers.
The neo-tropical mahogany neck features a long-pin Action Control Neck for easy string height adjustment, allowing you to fine-tune the setting to suit your touch, while maintaining consistent vibration transmission between the neck and body.
The Claria electronics built into this Taylor guitar deliver a faithful reproduction of the acoustic signal, with a stable response and an adjustable midrange contour designed for common amplified configurations.
This under-saddle system works predictably and smoothly, making it easy to plug in quickly on stage or in rehearsal, without the need for constant corrections to the amplification or external EQ.
The 324ce Next Generation's body chamfers, bevelled armrest and sculpted cutaway contribute to fluid ergonomics that support the natural movements of the right arm and left hand.
This attention to contact zones reduces stress points during prolonged playing and improves the feeling of continuity between your body and the instrument.
This sculpting work also enhances the perception of overall precision, without visually weighing down the silhouette or altering the overall balance of the guitar.
