To refine his rig, Geddy Lee collaborated with Tech 21 to develop the DI-2112, a SansAmp Signature. The pedal condenses a large rig into a single rack space. According to him, it delivers a “clean, deep” tone paired with a “cutting crunch” all in a compact unit. A power supply is not included in the package.

The DI-2112 Geddy Lee Signature from Tech21 is a high-quality preamp and speaker simulator. It features renowned SansAmp analog circuits for a high-quality sound experience.
It features two fully analog SansAmp circuits. Each of these circuits has an individual level control for increased flexibility. The Drive section adjusts gain and saturation for a rich overdrive. The Saturation control enhances the low end with improved precision. The Blend adjusts the ratio between the SansAmp tube amplifier emulation and the direct signal of your instrument. This allows you to have a tailor-made audio experience.
The semi-parametric EQ, with a range of 170 Hz to 3.0 kHz and a 12 dB cut/boost, allows for fine adjustments to your tone. The Tight knob adds definition to notes in brighter settings. It also enhances altered acoustics, making them more dynamic.
The built-in speaker simulation uses a pure analog approach. It is designed for a smooth response similar to that of a cabinet with multiple microphones, avoiding the peaks and valleys common to single IRs. Outputs include balanced XLR and 1/4" jack outputs, with level selection options.
This reference runs on an 18V DC power supply or two 9V batteries which are not included.
