To mark the 30th anniversary of the SansAmp Bass Driver DI, Tech21 presents a limited edition with a machined aluminum housing and metal knobs called the SansAmp Bass Driver DI 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. This all-in-one analog pedalboard offers varied tones with distortion options. It features three output types for different gear, and controls such as Presence, Blend, and a 3-band EQ. Its tube amp simulation ensures compatibility with all bass cabinets.

Presentation
The SansAmp Bass Driver DI is a versatile bass preamp pedal for guitarists looking to enrich their bass tone.
It offers a wide range of traditional amplifier tones. This includes iconic styles like Bassman® and SVT®, as well as overdriven and crunchy sounds typically achieved with multiple effects units.
Presence adjusts definition and upper harmonics. Drive modifies the overall gain structure and saturation. Level adjusts the XLR and 1/4″ output levels. Blend mixes the direct bass signal with SansAmp’s tube amp emulation technology. This option is ideal for basses equipped with piezo pickups.
The MID, BASS & TREBLE controls are active EQs. They provide a ±12dB cut or boost. The MID SHIFT and BASS SHIFT switches adjust the frequencies to 500 Hz/1000 Hz and 40 Hz/80 Hz respectively.
Thanks to its analog design, the integrated cabinet simulation provides a balanced acoustic response. This reference has three outputs: XLR assigned, 1/4″ assigned, and 1/4″ parallel unassigned. It operates on a 9V battery or an optional DC adapter (Tech 21 model #DC9). The footswitch allows you to activate or deactivate the tube amp simulation.
