With the TX-6 Black Edition, Teenage Engineering proves that a miniature tool can deliver top-level performance. This 6-channel stereo mixer literally fits in the palm of your hand, but incorporates a 12-input/32-bit audio interface, professional effects, compressor and three-band EQ per channel. Ideal for artists on the move, content creators or DJs looking to stay in control wherever they are, without compromising on quality.
The TX-6 doesn't stop there: it also features a full synthesiser and sequencer, with four waveforms, synthesised drum sounds and built-in tempo synchronisation. This transforms the mixer into a truly autonomous and versatile creative hub, perfect for composing ideas on the move or improvising live performances.
Its refined design - CNC aluminium casing, custom-made components, robust encoders - makes it as pleasant to handle as it is effective in the field. Compact and lightweight (145 g), it can be used in the studio or on stage, with a battery life of up to 8 hours and a clear, responsive OLED display.
When it comes to connectivity, everything is designed for maximum compatibility: USB-C audio/MIDI, Bluetooth LE, 3.5 mm mini-jacks and a 6.35 mm jack adapter are all included. It even works as a wireless MIDI controller, or as a professional audio interface with any DAW on PC, Mac or iOS thanks to MFi certification.
And for DJs, it can also be transformed into a mini mixer: lay it horizontally, activate DJ mode, and use channel 1 as a crossfader between channels 5 and 6. Flexibility that makes all the difference to those who play a wide range of formats and contexts.
The effects are not to be outdone: reverb, chorus, delay, distortion, tape, gel, filters... all configurable by channel. Add to that presets, an intuitive interface and slim cables designed to maximise ergonomics, and you've got a machine that's as complete as it is surprising in this format.
