Designed to enhance Falcon, UVI’s Pulsar virtual instrument (downloadable licence) features 143 presets geared towards futuristic electronic sounds. The collection covers atmospheres, basses, effects, leads, pads, plucks, sequences and arpeggios, with timbres ranging from analogue-inspired sounds to granular soundscapes.
Macros provide quick access to the key parameters of each sound, allowing you to shape them whilst creating or performing. Pulsar utilises Falcon’s semi-modular architecture to facilitate the previewing, editing, layering and performance of sounds. The library utilises wavetable, virtual analogue and physical modelling synthesis techniques, as well as effects and modulators.
It requires a Falcon licence and is not compatible with UVI Workstation. With its content dedicated to electronic music production, Pulsar is an extension that can be used directly within Falcon by producers, composers and sound designers in various contexts of music creation and sound design.
