Virtual Instruments Software
In the world of virtual percussion, UVI's Percussion Factory 2 offers a resolutely creative and modern approach. This software instrument brings together over 1,700 sounds and more than 800 presets to shape rich rhythms, from studio to live. Its 8-part engine invites you to manipulate grooves, textures and sound effects with astonishing ease. With its blend of rhythmic precision and sonic freedom, it's as much a companion to composition as it is to sound exploration... and sometimes it even surprises its user.

Presentation
With its engine structured into 8 independent sections, Percussion Factory 2 makes it easy to organise several rhythmic layers in a single project. Each section has advanced controls that precisely adjust amplitude, pitch and filters, helping you to build evolving grooves without losing readability or overall sonic control.
As for content, UVI has assembled a library of over 1,700 sounds covering acoustic and electronic percussion and a variety of foley effects. You navigate between organic textures and synthetic impacts without changing tools, making creation fluid and coherent in styles ranging from urban music to cinematic atmospheres.
The integrated sequence generation tool offers rhythmic variations built from realistic musical structures. You launch an idea, and the engine develops several tracks that can be used immediately, avoiding frequent creative blockages. The results can be modulated in depth, so that each pattern retains a personal identity and adapts perfectly to your current project.
Percussion Factory 2 features real-time modifiers that add an expressive dimension directly during play. You can adjust grooves, offsets and dynamic variations without interrupting your flow, giving a lively, spontaneous feel, almost as if the instrument were reacting to your current mood.
In terms of sound processing, each part includes a complete chain with EQ, creative effects and treatments such as granulizer or bitcrusher. You can easily sculpt complex textures, then add a parametric reverb or tape delay to enrich the sonic space, producing results that are equally suited to mixing and performance.
UVI has reworked the interface to simplify access to essential functions and speed up operation. You slide your own samples directly into the instrument, then integrate them into existing kits without friction, encouraging experimentation and the desire to try out sometimes unexpected combinations.
