ARTICLE N° 119774
On a tenor saxophone, the ligature plays a discreet but essential role: it holds the reed in place while allowing the reed to vibrate freely. Vandoren's LC58GP M/O ligature has been designed with this in mind, with a lightweight structure and precise tightening to make the musician's job easier.

Its system is based on a single double-pitch screw. This mechanism creates an even, symmetrical fit around the mouthpiece, helping to install the reed quickly and securely. This simplicity is particularly appreciated when rehearsing, changing reeds or making adjustments before playing.

The ligature only touches the reed at two points, thanks to an inverted clamp. This leaves the reed free to vibrate, for a clean attack and clear response in a variety of musical contexts, from jazz to classical repertoire.

Made with gold plating, this ligature for ebonite mouthpieces comes with a plastic mouthpiece cover to protect the mouthpiece after playing.
