Vandoren PP26 Pressure pads for soprano saxophone leather ligatures give saxophonists the possibility of adapting their tone precisely to each musical context. Designed for leather ligatures, they modify the way the reed vibrates and directly influence the colour of the sound.

The metal plate, combined with the leather, gives a more timbred, centred sound, particularly interesting for clear, well-defined lines.

The leather insert, identical to the ligature, produces a more compact, darker sound, suitable for deep passages or hushed atmospheres. Finally, the softer leather insert develops more roundness and amplitude, ideal for expressive, nuanced playing.

Made from gold-plated brass and supplied in packs of three, these standard pads are designed for the soprano saxophone. They allow rapid adjustment of the sound character, without altering the natural balance of the instrument.
