Covered in thick velvet just like the vintage pedal, the Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box faithfully recreates the vintage circuit and gives you huge sound, higher octaves and the look of the original.

A super-precise recreation of one of the most sought-after and beloved fuzz pedals of all time, used in the early 70s by legendary masters of sound Billy Gibbons and Peter Frampton, and today by the likes of Adrian Belew, Nine Inch Nails and Beck.
Like the original, the Foxy Tone Box features volume, sustain and fuzz controls (from 'Mellow' to 'Brite'), as well as a switch to activate the pronounced octave effect.
To start, hold the Octave switch off and roll the Fuzz to the 'Mellow' side for a warm, square distortion. Then turn on the Octave effect, turn the Fuzz up to 'Brite', and crank up the Sustain for hyper-compressed tones that barely hold on for dear life! Electric guitar is the obvious application, but try it out on synthesizers, machine drums, bass, acoustic/electric, and so on. If you can plug a cable into it, the Foxy Tone Box can add character you can't get anywhere else.

Warm Audio uses Fairchild NOS ('New Old Stock') transistors used in the original for its Foxy Tone Box, then they've combined them with germanium diodes and high-power carbon resistors to bring the fury of vintage pedalling through to the present day.
