Waves - WiFi Stage Router

The Waves WRC-1 V2 WiFi Stage Router has been designed for mobile sound control and live monitoring systems. Unlike home routers, it fits directly into a 1U rack and withstands the rigours of the stage. Thanks to its detachable antennae and robust metal chassis, it's discreet but indispensable, whether you're controlling MyMon, streaming DLNA or managing your consoles remotely without interruption.

This dual-band router operates simultaneously in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz to guarantee fast, stable bandwidth, even in complex RF environments. It uses MIMO technology and four antennas to provide better coverage and higher throughput. Add to this an advanced security system (WEP, WPA/WPA2, WPA Mixed), and you have a solution for every type of professional deployment, from small concert halls to festival stages.

The WRC-1 V2 incorporates a DLNA player with balanced analogue XLR outputs, so you can stream tracks directly from a smartphone or tablet to your sound system. An ideal solution for sound checks or transitions between sets. At the same time, its five-port USB 3.0 hub ensures rapid charging of peripherals, practical on stage or in the control room.

On the network side, it has four Gigabit Ethernet ports, two of which are lockable RJ45 ports for enhanced reliability. Thanks to synchronisation via Ethernet (SoE), it can also manage digital splits in a SoundGrid environment. And with its universal internal power supply, it operates from 100 to 240 V, making it immediately operational anywhere in the world.

Finally, it comes with firmware that's easy to configure via a browser. For advanced technicians, an optional firmware pack gives access to more advanced functions such as VLANs, QoS management and NAT parameters. This is a real plus for adapting the WRC-1 V2 to the most complex network scenarios without losing stability.
