Audio Interfaces

The WORK DD4 is a compact 4x4 Dante interface designed to easily integrate analogue signals into an audio-over-IP network. Versatile and easy to deploy, it enables stable bidirectional conversion between traditional systems and Dante infrastructures.

ARTICLE N° 124476
The WORK DD4 plays a central role in modern audio installations when it comes to connecting multiple analogue sources and destinations to a Dante network. With its 4 inputs and 4 outputs, it offers significantly greater flexibility than more compact models, whilst retaining a discreet and easy-to-integrate design.

In a fixed installation, it allows multiple signals to be managed simultaneously: microphones, mixing desks, music sources or monitor feeds can be fed into the network, whilst multiple zones or amplifiers can receive independent audio streams at the output. This versatility makes it particularly well-suited to complex environments such as hotels, conference centres, places of worship, event venues or multi-zone buildings.

It operates via bidirectional conversion between analogue audio and Dante, controlled via the Dante Controller. Once integrated into the network, the DD4 becomes a configurable audio routing point, capable of adapting to different architectures without the need for hardware modifications.

The DD4’s compact design makes it easy to install in confined technical spaces. Its aluminium chassis ensures robustness, whilst the Euroblock connections guarantee a reliable and durable installation, designed for professional environments where connections must remain stable over time.

In terms of performance, the DD4 supports resolutions of up to 32-bit and sampling rates of up to 96 kHz, with very low latency of approximately 1 ms. It also maintains an excellent signal-to-noise ratio and good channel isolation, ensuring clean transmission even in dense audio networks.

Power can be supplied via PoE or an external 24 V power supply, allowing for great flexibility in integration with existing infrastructure. This dual option also facilitates system updates or expansions without the need to redesign the electrical architecture.
