Crown - CT 875

The Crown CT 875 forms part of the ComTech DriveCore range as an audio distribution solution designed for fixed installations requiring high channel density, reliability and a compact footprint. With its 8 independent channels, each capable of delivering 75 W into 4 or 8 ohms, it is primarily intended for multi-zone systems where sound reproduction must remain consistent and stable, whether in commercial, institutional or technical environments.

Its design is based on DriveCore technology, which integrates the driver stage directly into the power stage. This approach delivers high efficiency whilst maintaining clean and stable audio reproduction across the entire spectrum. The amplifier operates without active cooling, making it particularly suitable for noise-sensitive environments or installations in enclosed technical enclosures.

The CT 875 is designed to offer great flexibility in integration. It supports loads ranging from 2 to 16 ohms and can also be used in 70 V or 100 V constant-voltage systems via the addition of external XFMR-type transformers. This modularity allows it to be integrated into both direct systems and extensive public address networks.

The audio section offers excellent stability with a high signal-to-noise ratio and very low distortion, ensuring clear sound reproduction even at low or high power levels. The internal protection and thermal management circuits ensure safe continuous operation, even under sustained load conditions.
