The subwoofer Yamaha DXS18 was developed as ideal complement lines DSR, DXR and DBR, offering no compromise between low frequency high power and definition. Powered by a 1020W Class D amplifier, the speaker 18 "housed in a rugged bandpass type enclosure can provide a maximum SPL of 136dB, down to 32Hz, with exceptional clarity and minimal distortion. The DXS subwoofers use a new drawing type "band-pass" that provides an impressive SPL while drastically reducing distortion. These boxes boarded a high-power woofer with superior damping, delivering a very clear and precise, thanks to a class D amplifier Yamaha has integrated DSP technology to ensure a high precision tuning with the mid / high speaker. The D-XSUB processing generated by the DSP has three modes: NORMAL, BOOST or Xtended LF. The NORMAL mode provides a perfect low frequency response, the BOOST mode increases in the level and serious response Xtended LF mode expands in the low end frequency response.
