Yamaha's DXS18 18" 1020W active subwoofer delivers powerful bass reinforcement in a compact design, ideal for use with DXR and DSR full-range speakers. The subwoofer features a wood cabinet with an optimized bandwidth design that delivers high sound pressure levels with minimal distortion. The high-power 18-inch woofer is capable of reproducing frequencies as low as 32 Hz. It is finished with a Line-X elastomer coating.
The subwoofer is driven by a Class-D amplifier with a peak power of 1020W for clear, powerful bass. D-XSUB processing is integrated into the subwoofer, allowing you to choose between Normal, Boost, or Xtended LF modes. For installations consisting of two or more DXS18 subwoofers, selecting the Cardioid Mode function effectively reduces sound pressure on the stage side while increasing the output from the bottom to the audience, resulting in a clearer stage monitoring environment and a more pronounced bass experience up front.
The rear panel features XLR input and output connectors for compatibility with a variety of speakers and PA systems. Standard M20 and 35mm jacks allow for mounting a full-range driver on top of the subwoofer, while integrated handles provide convenient transport.

The DXS subwoofers use a new drawing type "band-pass" that provides an impressive SPL while drastically reducing distortion. These boxes boarded a high-power woofer with superior damping, delivering a very clear and precise, thanks to a class D amplifier Yamaha has integrated DSP technology to ensure a high precision tuning with the mid / high speaker. The D-XSUB processing generated by the DSP has three modes: NORMAL, BOOST or Xtended LF. The NORMAL mode provides a perfect low frequency response, the BOOST mode increases in the level and serious response Xtended LF mode expands in the low end frequency response.

Finition robuste. La qualité sonore et la puissance sont incroyables. Je suis un peu déçu concernant le système de fixation des roulettes (en option) qui n'est pas du tout standard. Donc pas le choix que d'acheter leur produit.

On entend bien les 800w rms. Ils ont toujours de la puissance en réserve surtout quand ils sont 2.
Très bon matériel malgré les housses un peu chère mais indispensable pour garder son matériel soigné.
