Yamaha - DTX6K5-M
The Yamaha DTX6K5-M is an electronic drum kit that marks an expected evolution in the DTX6 series. The first model in the series to integrate mesh heads, it combines a precise response and remarkable playing comfort. Between a high-performance sound module, large pads and an intuitive interface, everything is designed to transform each strike into an immersive experience. Its 3-zone cymbals, its responsive snare pad and its advanced control via application offer a new playing field for drummers looking for a kit that is as inspiring as it is powerful.
Presentation
The cymbal pads have not been forgotten, and fortunately so! 2 13-inch crashes, a 15-inch ride and a hi-hat mounted on a complete stand allow for smooth and responsive playing. Each strike is captured with precision thanks to tripartite sensors that provide subtle detection between the different zones. And since Yamaha likes to simplify musicians' lives, the hi-hat works on a real stand, for natural and surprise-free control.
One of the highlights of this DTX6K5-M lies in its DTX-PRO module, a small concentrate of technology that contains samples of acoustic drums captured with impressive quality. Each sound is finely crafted to reproduce the dynamics and depth of a real drum kit, with the ability to adjust parameters on the fly. Three buttons provide direct access to sound modifications, allowing you to fine-tune the ambiance, compression and effects without getting lost in complex menus.
The experience is further enhanced by the DTX Touch application, which transforms a smartphone, tablet or computer into an ultra-intuitive control interface. Adjusting a kit, customizing sounds or saving your preferences becomes child's play. Yamaha even takes the concept a step further with Rec'n'Share compatibility, an application that allows you to record and share your performances in just a few clicks. Enough to make drummers stuck behind bulky and difficult to transport kits jealous.
