The Yamaha DXS15mkII active subwoofer, with its 15-inch (38 cm) woofer and 2.5-inch voice coil, offers cutting-edge acoustic performance.
Designed to deliver an impressive power of 1020W peak and 800W RMS, this model stands out for its exceptional output reaching 135 dB SPL at 1 meter.
This level of performance is supported by a frequency response of 40 Hz to 150 Hz, enabling deep, rich bass reproduction.
Equipped with 48-bit DSP processing, the Yamaha DXS15mkII incorporates D-XSUB functionality, including Boost and Extended LF modes, which optimize low frequency management according to the needs of the moment.
Flexibility is also there thanks to the adjustable low-pass filter, offering options at 80, 100, and 120 Hz, and the possibility of adopting a cardioid mode for the use of several subwoofers simultaneously.
The robustness of this model is ensured by a wooden shell with a granite finish, resistant to the rigors of transport and frequent use on stage.
Connectivity options include two XLR inputs and two outputs, allowing easy integration into any PA setup.
The front panel LED monitoring, which can be deactivated, and the complete DSP protection of the speakers, amplification and power supply, ensure reliable and efficient management during each use.
