The Yamaha MG10 is a compact 10-channel analogue mixing console featuring 4 mic/line inputs with class A preamps, attenuation pad, phantom power, 6 line inputs on jack and 3-band EQ. The Yamaha MG10 builds on the sound quality combined with reliability and performance already proven on the previous 2 generations of the MG series.
The MG10 features 4 mic/line inputs on Yamaha professional studio quality XLR/Jack combo connectors, with Class A 'D-PRE' preamps that use an inverted Darlington circuit, guaranteeing high input gain and extremely low residual noise. Switchable 48V phantom power allows you to connect condenser or dynamic microphones. They are also equipped with -26dB attenuation pads for recording loud sound sources such as guitar amps.
The Yamaha MG10 features 3 stereo channels with 6 line inputs on jacks (two stereo channels also have RCA inputs) with 3-band EQ on channels 1-4, and 2-band EQ on channels 5-10. Each channel is equipped with a pan control.
A single-knob compressor is fitted to channels 1 and 2 of the MG10, to smooth the dynamics of vocals and instruments to help them fit better into your mix.
In terms of output connectors, the Yamaha MG10 features stereo jack and XLR outputs for connecting your speakers, a 3.5mm mini-jack headphone output with individual gain control and additional TRS stereo jack monitor outputs for sending to active speakers, amps or digital recorders.
