Easy USB connection

A USB cable is all you need for MIDI integration between the MOTIF XS and your music production. Set your software to recognize the port MOTIF XS and bi-directional MIDI connection is made.
Optional FireWire ™ interface

For those who require even more flexibility of input / output, optional mLAN16E2 interface lets you connect your MOTIF XS via FireWire ™, providing 16 inputs and 6 outputs audio and MIDI data. You can record up to 14 individual parts simultaneously, also with the stereo master output from the instrument to the computer. You can route three stereo busses from your sequencer to listen or even treatment using the internal effects (with no extra load on your processor). The driver and Extensions for Steinberg sequencers allow you to automatically install and configure all your audio and MIDI connections to Cubase.
