After several years of use, the guitar adapts to the player's playing style. It takes time for a new guitar to adapt to the way you play. Tensions between certain parts (finish, wood, body, neck, keys, nut, bridge, etc.) have to disappear so that they can all resonate together as an instrument. This takes a lot of time and practice.
