Yamaha - Pack CXR15 MK3 (la paire) + Sub + Accessoires

For a larger-scale passive setup, the Yamaha CXR15 MK3s are paired with the Yamaha CXS18 MK3 subwoofer in this system. Each of the two speakers features a 15" driver and a 1" compression tweeter, with a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 126 dB. Their RMS power is 300 W at 8 Ω, with a recommended amplifier power of 600 W RMS at 8 Ω. The CXS18 MK3 adds an 18" driver and extends down to 35 Hz, with 500 W RMS, 1000 W peak and a maximum SPL of 129 dB.

You can mount the CXR15 MK3 on a stand using their 35 mm inserts, with positions at 0° and -7°, or use them on the floor with their 52° monitor angle. The M10 and M8 suspension points also allow for a suspended installation, whilst the horizontal coverage of 90° and vertical coverage of 60° characterise their coverage pattern. The CXS18 MK3 features two handles and 35 mm and M20 inserts, with a dedicated mounting point for four SPW-1 castors. The 75 mm castors are fitted with a 27 mm tread and radial ball bearings, making it easy to move the cabinet.

Once the equipment has arrived at the venue, the castors can be removed depending on your setup, and the accessories can be stored with the system. The two Yamaha SPCVR-DXR153 covers are designed for the CXR15 MK3 and protect the cabinet from dust, dirt and moisture during transport or storage. The SPCVR-DXS183 cover, meanwhile, protects the CXS18 MK3 and features the same nylon and mesh fabric design. However, these covers do not guarantee protection against severe weather conditions.
