Yamaha - PX3
Class D power amplifier 2x500W / 4 ohms, 2x300W under 8 ohms, with 2 intelligent built-in configuration modes, including presets for Yamaha loudspeakers, a perfectly calibrated signal with maximum power, thus adapting to all situations, a custom LSI circuit, DSP and signal processing, input and output routing, a configuration wizard, simple and intuitive settings... The new PX series of amplifiers intelligently meets the requirements of a wide range of sound reinforcement applications!
Presentation
The PX series models feature a newly developed Class D amplifier engine that concentrates all the necessary functions in a single custom LSI chip, and uses PLL technology to control the transfer characteristics in real time, producing impressive and powerful sound quality. This new single-chip architecture offers higher power and better performance in a lighter, yet reliable design. A combination of cutting-edge technology and component selection processes make the PX series amplifiers extremely efficient with low noise, reliable protection features, and above all, outstanding sound quality.

The PX Series models contain PEQ, crossover, filter, delay and standard limiting functions, allowing a system to be set up quickly and easily via the LCD screen, without the need for additional external processing. All models also feature Yamaha's intelligent D-CONTOUR dynamic multi-band processing, which allows users to achieve consistent clarity and high-quality sound at all output levels by adapting the frequency response of each connected speaker for either front-of-house or stage returns.
To cater for users with different levels of PA experience, the PX series offers basic and advanced configuration modes. The basic mode allows inexperienced users to easily configure a system that meets their needs, while the advanced mode gives experienced users more precise control over all aspects of the sound. All models feature eight programmable presets for instant recall to reduce set-up time, which can be saved to a USB memory stick and shared with other PX amplifiers.
The LCD display on the front panel of PX amplifiers makes all configuration settings quick and easy. You can check the operating status and manage data transfers to the USB key. You can also use the panel lock function to secure the amp's data.
