Yamaha - RBFUSIONRW Recording Custom Fusion Real Wood 20''
Designed in collaboration with legendary drummer Steve Gadd and Yamaha, the RBFUSIONRW Recording Custom Fusion Real Wood 20" 4-barrel drum kit (20 "x16", 10 "x7", 12 "x8", 14 "x13") is constructed with 6-ply North American birch drums and 30-degree bevels, providing a focused, round sound with optimised depth, ideal for studio recording. The 20" bass drum (Real Wood) incorporates a fixed factory riser to minimise floor interference and accentuate the punchy sound produced by the core of the drum, ensuring absolute precision in performance.
Presentation
The drums are made entirely from 6-ply American birch, a wood renowned for its clean projection and natural punch. The 30º chamfer and 1.6 mm triple-flange rings promote controlled resonance and a rapid response to every strike. The heavier shells add depth and prolong sustain, giving a sound that's both clear and consistent.
Remo US Coated Ambassador skins on the toms and Remo PS3 on the bass drum ensure a balanced attack and even sound texture. The YESS system maintains stability while allowing the drums to vibrate freely, ideal for expressive, fluid playing. With its Real Wood colour and chrome fittings, this 4-drum set has a sober, elegant look. Perfect on stage or in the studio, it offers a reliable sound base ready for your groove.
