Designed in collaboration with Steve Gadd, the Yamaha RBJAZZWLN Recording Custom Jazz Classic Walnut 18" kit consists of four drums (18 "x14", 10 "x7", 12 "x8", 14 "x13") in Classic Walnut finish. Made from 6-ply North American birch, they offer sonic clarity suited to studio environments. The 30° bevels and high-tension weighted tie rods ensure precise response, controlled sustain and easy tuning, whatever the playing style.

Yamaha's RBJAZZWLN Recording Custom Jazz Classic Walnut 18" is designed for drummers seeking sonic precision and tonal warmth, particularly suited to jazz and fusion settings. Based on the Recording Custom series developed with Steve Gadd, this compact configuration includes an 18 "x14" bass drum, two 10 "x7" and 12 "x8" toms and a 14 "x13" stand tom, offering fast response and excellent integration into studio or live environments.

The 6-ply North American birch drums ensure a clean attack and balanced clarity. The 30° chamfer optimises contact with the skin for a dynamic, controlled response. The weighted shells extend sustain and enhance definition, while the 1.6 mm chromed steel triple-flange hoops ensure stable, precise tension.

Remo US Coated Ambassador and Remo PS3 skins on the bass drum provide a consistent sound texture, with a good balance between roundness and articulation. Yamaha's YESS system maximises resonance while ensuring a reliable fit. With its Classic Walnut finish and chrome hardware, this 4-drum kit combines vintage aesthetics with modern performance, ready to meet the demands of professional drummers.

Steve Gadd, born on 9 April 1945 in Rochester, New York, is an American drummer renowned for his precision and versatility. He has distinguished himself in jazz, rock and pop, collaborating with artists such as Paul Simon, Eric Clapton, Chick Corea and Steely Dan. His technique, notably the famous groove of "50 Ways to Leave Your Lover", has influenced generations of drummers. In addition to his personal projects, he leads the Steve Gadd Band, exploring rich and nuanced compositions.
