Crash Cymbal
With the Zildjian K 16" Dark Medium Thin cymbal, you get a dark crash with more presence and projection than the thinner versions. It retains a warm, deep base, with a more pronounced treble that helps to break through in the mix. An effective cymbal for jazz, rock or pop when you want a dark but well-defined sound.

Presentation
The Zildjian K 16" Dark Medium Thin has the same DNA as the K crashes, with a blend of warmth and depth, but with a little more body under the stick. Compared with the thinner models, it delivers a more solid attack, with a feeling of density right from impact. The sound remains dark, but with a more pronounced presence in the treble, which improves legibility.
With its medium-thin weight, it remains responsive. It opens quickly, without requiring too much energy, but with a little more resistance than a classic thin. This slight surplus of material is reflected in the overall sound: the crash is fuller, with a low pitch and a more stable base.
The bell is also more present, with a clearer, more audible sound, which can be useful in certain situations where you need to stand out more. In terms of projection, it fits easily into a mix, whether in rehearsal or on stage.
It's a versatile crash, which works well if you want to stay in a dark universe while gaining in definition and power. It adapts just as well to jazz as to rock or pop, without losing its identity.
