Its low pitch and particularly wide sustain create a massive feel under the sticks, almost like a wave of sound that lives on long after impact.

This 22" version takes the spirit of the famous Crash of Doom 20" even further. With its wider format, the response becomes even fuller and deeper, which works very well for heavy accents in metal, post-rock, sludge, doom or certain experimental music. Drummers who like to build thick atmospheres or add trashy textures to their playing will find this a truly atypical cymbal.
