Zildjian - K 16" EFX

The Zildjian K EFX 16" is clearly designed for drummers who like to produce more aggressive, drier, more modern sounds without losing the musical character of the K series. From the very first strike, this cymbal develops an explosive attack with a very short, trashy edge that immediately punctuates the groove or reinforces a break.

Its distinctive design, with several laser cut-outs, plays a huge part in its sonic identity. The sound opens up very quickly and then disappears almost instantly, helping to keep the playing precise without overwhelming the mix. In a rock, metal, fusion or even electro-acoustic context, it allows you to add much more nervous accents than with a classic crash.

With its thin thickness and 16-inch diameter, the response remains very fast under the sticks. The cymbal reacts immediately, even on lighter hits. It also works extremely well stacked with other cymbals to create the short, dirty, very modern textures that many drummers are looking for today.

Despite its effect orientation, the K Zildjian DNA is evident, with a dark background and complex harmonics that add depth to the sound. Made from B20 alloy with a traditional finish and fine hammering, this K EFX has a real musical personality behind its brutal, percussive side.
