The S series is, of course, made in the USA and features 33 new individual parts and 2 sets of cymbals (with different weights and sizes of Rides, Crashes, Hi-Hats and Effects). The aim is to provide a balanced response to suit a wide variety of musical styles. Each model has undergone extensive hammering and turning and has a brilliant gloss finish that helps to open up the sound, offering a lively, danceable tone.

The S series is a bold, bright and expressive range made from B12 alloy. This new family pays tribute to Alice 'Sally' Zildjian, wife of Avedis Zildjian III and grandmother of Craigie and Debbie Zildjian. "This is the first time the Zildjian company has honoured a female family member with a cymbal line," said Craigie Zildjian. "Our grandmother was instrumental in convincing my grandfather to keep the 300-year family business alive and pass it on to the next generation."

Je suis batteur depuis peu, bref je n'y connais pas grand-chose, j'ai juste comparé avec des sabian B8PRO ET DES ZILDJIAN K ET ZBT de mon prof.Bref mon sentiment, je trouve ce set très qualitatif et esthétique , la finition est superbe, au niveau du son je n'ai pas assez de recul pour être objectif, de plus chacun à ses critères, cela dit, elle sont accordées entre elles, elles ont un sustain plutôt long"ride" bref je pense que c'est un très bon rapport qualité-prix.
