AKG - HT470 C5 Bande 1
The AKG HT470 C5 Band 1 is an analogue wireless handheld transmitter designed for professional vocal applications requiring precision, definition and HF stability. Its C5 electrostatic capsule provides detailed voice reproduction with excellent presence in the mix, whether on stage, at a conference or on a broadcast.
Presentation
The C5 condenser capsule delivers detailed vocal reproduction with excellent intelligibility, while retaining good resistance to feedback thanks to its cardioid directional characteristic. This sound signature brings out vocal nuances and attacks with greater precision, making it an ideal solution for singers, presenters, high-end conferences or broadcast productions. Even complex or highly dynamic vocals sound natural.
The integrated Pilot Tone system secures HF transmission by preventing unwanted noise when the transmitter is accidentally switched off. Battery life information is also transmitted directly to the receiver for constant monitoring during performances. Thanks to infrared synchronisation, pairing with the SR470 receiver is quick and easy, simplifying frequency changes and multi-channel configurations.
The HT470 C5 Band 1 covers the 650 to 680 MHz frequency range, with a bandwidth of 30 MHz and up to 1220 frequencies selectable in 25 kHz steps. This flexibility makes it easy to integrate into complex RF systems with up to 24 simultaneous channels, depending on RF conditions.
The transmitter also benefits from the dipole antenna design developed by AKG to ensure transmission stability even when the hand partially covers the antenna during use. Compatible with various types of AA and rechargeable batteries, it can operate for up to 14 hours on a single FR6 lithium battery, making it particularly suitable for long gigs and touring.

Founded in 1947 in Vienna, AKG is today one of the major players in the world of audio, with references for microphones and headphones used in the world's largest recording studios. These include the C414 condenser microphone, the small C451 diaphragm and the K series of monitoring headsets.
Since its acquisition by Harman International in 1994, AKG has continued to innovate with new stage microphones, analog and digital wireless systems, the Perception Series, and collaborations with artists such as Tiësto on DJ headphones.
