The C414 XLS offers nine choices directivity to perfectly match any kind of sound recording environment. It features a configurable low-cut filter on three frequencies and an attenuation circuit on three levels. In the case of use on stage or in the fixed installation, its controls can be disabled easily to avoid mishandling. An LED also can detect the shortest situation clipping.

The C414 XLS maintains the sonic character of the legendary C 414 B-ULS, the reference model in the series was the longest marketed. Designed to provide a neutral and linear sound, it is the most universal micro studio in recent decades.

Widely used for accurate capture of acoustic instruments, the new C414 XLS combines his reference quality with the latest construction technology for its acoustic and electronic components. It is especially valuable for its linearity, its large diaphragm dynamic and qualify for recording pianos, wood winds, strings, percussion and vocals, just as in the studio and on stage.
