The ADAM Audio Sub10 Pro subwoofer features modes designed to integrate with a 2.1 stereo monitoring system, with bass management. Stereo mode is suitable for 2.1 set-ups, LFE mode is designed for multi-channel cinema set-ups, and Wide mode extends bass reproduction whilst offering greater flexibility in integration.
Its Class D amplification works in conjunction with a DSP and an intelligent limiter to ensure the speaker remains under control at various listening levels, even during dense passages. The converters selected by ADAM Audio complete this signal processing chain, with consistent crossover and equalisation filters that ensure precise, stable and clear reproduction of low frequencies in the processed signal, without unnecessary overload.
For a studio seeking a subwoofer for monitoring, the Sub10 Pro’s connectivity facilitates integration with various audio equipment and playback systems. Balanced analogue connections via XLR and TRS are complemented by an AES3 interface, capable of carrying two 24-bit / 96 kHz, whilst a dedicated input accepts a footswitch to control the bass section with quick and direct intervention depending on the chosen working mode, without interrupting the entire audio chain, and without any detours, additional adjustments or complex manual operations.
