Powered by a new eight-core G2 processor and built around the MPC 3 OS system, the Akai MPC Key 37 G2 standalone workstation makes it easy to compose, sample and produce music within a standalone environment designed to keep pace with your ideas. Akai has equipped this model with a 37-key semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch, velocity-sensitive pads and a next-generation hardware platform designed for music creation. Its cream colour scheme echoes the iconic early MPCs in the range, whilst the rest of the design gives it a modern identity.

Loading times are faster and the system remains responsive during use. This configuration also allows you to use multiple plugins and audio tracks simultaneously within a single production.
Akai provides a library of sounds, kits, projects and plugins, ready to use straight out of the box, including developments resulting from the partnership with Native Instruments to enhance production possibilities.
On the hardware side, the 37-key semi-weighted keyboard with aftertouch, coupled with pitch bend and modulation wheels, provides an expressive response suited to melodic and harmonic lines.
True to its standards, Akai provides 16 pressure- and velocity-sensitive RGB pads that offer a complementary approach to keyboard playing. Their 8 banks, accessible instantly, expand the possibilities for organising sounds, kits and sequences.
The touch-sensitive Q-Links controllers allow you to quickly adjust various parameters, facilitating direct interaction with virtual instruments, samples and mixing elements.
The 177 mm colour touchscreen provides centralised access to all creative tools and key parameters. The disk streaming function helps you work with large projects without overloading available memory.
