Sonicware - deconstruct MINIMAL

With the deconstruct MINIMAL, Sonicware offers a machine designed from the outset for producers and performers seeking deep, repetitive and evolving grooves.
Whilst many general-purpose grooveboxes cover a wide range of styles, this model focuses specifically on the worlds of minimal techno, minimal house, microhouse, rominimal and dub techno.

Every feature has been designed to facilitate the creation of hypnotic rhythms, evolving textures and organic basslines capable of carrying a track for several minutes.

At the heart of the instrument lies a particularly sophisticated 10-track drum machine. Each track has its own groove parameters with independent control over swing, accents, random velocity, sub-steps and parameter locks. This architecture allows you to build complex sequences that evolve naturally over time without ever sounding mechanical. Phrase looping functions and recordable automation further enhance this sense of constant movement.

One of the key features of the deconstruct MINIMAL is its FEEL system. Inspired by the variations in timing, pitch and dynamics found on the legendary drum machines of the 1980s, this engine digitally recreates the micro-imperfections that bring electronic grooves to life. The FEEL08, FEEL09 and FEEL.MN modes each generate a different rhythmic personality, ranging from an open, floating groove to tighter, more aggressive sequences.

The built-in sampler significantly expands creative possibilities. Three tracks can accommodate mono samples, whilst a dedicated stereo track allows you to manipulate complete loops of up to eight seconds. Real-time time-stretch, pitch-shifting and crossfade functions make it easy to integrate textures, atmospheres and rhythmic phrases directly into compositions.

To round off the package, Sonicware has included an analogue-modelled bass synthesiser inspired by the most iconic machines in the history of electronic music. Its ladder-type filter, built-in overdrive, advanced glide controls and modulation capabilities allow you to create everything from incisive acid lines to deep basslines designed to drive the groove.
