Altamira - FZ-2 + Housse

The Altamira FZ-2 is for musicians who like instruments that can adapt rather than impose a particular way of playing. From the very first chords, the Altamira FZ gives you the distinctive feel of a nylon guitar that's open to folk, jazz and even modern acoustic styles.

Its format is inspired by the great traditional classical guitars, but with a more contemporary feel. The 640mm scale, 48mm nut and 16" radius create a more direct and natural feel. Moving around the neck feels more fluid, especially for players who alternate between open chords, melodic playing and more technical passages.

The solid spruce top provides clarity and a clean attack that brings out the details of the playing. The laminated Indian rosewood used for the back and sides adds more depth and a fuller resonant feel. This combination works particularly well for modern arrangements, jazz, fingerstyle or revisited classical pieces.

Designed to be played everywhere, the FZ-2 features the Fishman Presys Blend system, which facilitates the transition to amplification while maintaining a natural reproduction of the nylon strings.

The Hanson ANS® system also makes it easier to adjust the neck over time. The padded case included completes the package for comfortable transport.
