Antelope Audio - Pack Orion Studio + SRC + Edge 360
The Antelope Audio Orion Studio Synergy Core bundle, complete with the SRC controller and the Edge 360 microphone, forms a more than solid foundation for a recording studio focused on production and monitoring. Its architecture is centred around a Thunderbolt 3 interface, integrated audio processing and control tools that organise the creation, listening and calibration processes within the modern workflows of a contemporary studio. The SRC controller adds a touch-sensitive monitoring interface, whilst the Edge 360 measurement microphone provides accurate data for analysing room acoustics, enabling the creation of a coherent studio suited to set-ups where listening quality is just as important as sound recording.
Composition of the package
Presentation
It utilises its DSP and FPGA power to run over 50 modelled audio effects in real time, whilst reserving the computer’s processor resources for other tasks. This architecture delivers equalisation, compression and simulations inspired by sought-after studio equipment, with imperceptible latency suited to audio production work.
With Dual Host Streaming, which routes audio simultaneously via Thunderbolt 3 and USB, it offers a useful safety net: if one connection becomes unavailable, the second takes over to safeguard the recording. This feature also supports connecting two computers, facilitating collaboration, streaming and shared production.
The Orion Studio Synergy Core interface supports Dolby Atmos 9.1.6 immersive monitoring across more than 23 formats, with quick recall of configurations and dedicated tools for speaker calibration. To calibrate the listening system, Antelope Audio provides the Edge 360 calibrated measurement microphone, supplied with its own individual calibration file.
Room correction measures the room’s acoustics, generates tailored curves and then applies them within the control software. The processing operates with virtually zero latency and is independent of the computer’s CPU, ensuring accurate studio monitoring.
The workstation is made more user-friendly with the SRC Stereo Remote Controller, whose five programmable buttons feature two layers for recalling presets and snapshots. The controller also manages stereo and 2.1 calibration with a 16-band parametric equaliser and delay of up to 100 ms.

PLEASE NOTE!
If you use this interface via USB, you will have 24 channels available rather than 32. To utilise its full capabilities, you will need to connect it via Thunderbolt 3.
The Thunderbolt 3 port connector is the same as USB-C, but the protocol is different and incompatible.
If the USB-C port on your computer has a lightning bolt symbol above it, as on recent Apple computers, you will be able to use the Orion Studio Synergy Core via Thunderbolt. Otherwise, it will operate via USB 2.0.
