Presentation
The MA5 is a "coup de coeur" mic preamp, an exceptional product in this price range. Californian manufacturer Avedis Audio Electronics offers an ultra-high quality preamp with controlled, deep bass and no aggressive treble, even when the 28K function is activated, to give your recordings a breath of fresh air.
Finally, the only thing it lacks is a DI function. Once you've tried it, you'll forget all about your classic Neve and API, and you won't be able to live without it!
Also available with red buttons.

To find out more...
After a few requests from recording engineers, the Avedis Audio MA5 microphone preamplifier was created for the need of a high quality microphone preamplifier in the characteristic British console sound of the early 70s. The re-engineering in the creation of the MA5 is the result of years of experience in restoring American and British modules, deeply rooted in classic transformer-balanced discrete electronics. Only the best and most appropriate components are used, whatever their cost, to achieve the best sound.
A great deal of time was spent on the MA5, not only on the engineering side of the design, but also on in-depth sonic evaluations in observing specific parameters, gain structures and key components over a period of just over a year.
