B&C Speakers - 320K/C-A 16 Ohm

The 320K/C-A 16 Ohm is the high-impedance version of B&C Speakers' 12-inch full-range loudspeaker, designed for professional applications where versatility, efficiency and reliability are paramount. It is particularly suited to loudspeaker manufacturers and integrators looking for a simple full-range solution, without complex crossover, while maintaining excellent intelligibility.

With a sensitivity of 100 dB (1W/1m), this transducer offers high efficiency, perfectly suited to systems operating in network or series/parallel configurations where overall impedance must be kept under control. Its frequency response of 80 Hz to 16 kHz covers most of the useful spectrum in compact loudspeakers, voice or music distribution systems, or stage monitor applications.

The motor is based on a 38 mm copper voice coil, combined with a copper shorting cap, which contributes to better extension at the top end of the spectrum and reduced distortion due to inductance. The ferrite magnet system, with a flux density of 1.4 Tesla, ensures stable, reproducible behaviour, even at sustained operating levels.

The electromechanical parameters, with a Qts of 0.59 and a resonance frequency of 82 Hz, make this loudspeaker particularly suitable for bass-reflex loads. The manufacturer recommends a 60-litre load tuned to 75 Hz, offering a coherent compromise between efficiency, low-frequency extension and control of excursion.
