The B&C Speakers FB354 is a passive crossover specially developed for the DCX354 coaxial driver, used in conjunction with the ME464 horn with 300 Hz cut-off. It ensures precise phase alignment between the midrange and treble diaphragms, offering a linear, controlled response right from the outset.

The FB354 is part of the most accomplished point-source approach offered by B&C Speakers, complementing the DCX354 coaxial compression driver with a passive filtering network perfectly suited to its internal architecture.
Unlike a generic crossover, this crossover has been designed as an integral part of the system, to fully exploit the potential of the coaxial motor in professional applications with high demands.
Developed specifically for use with the ME464 horn, with a low cut-off frequency of 300 Hz, the FB354 provides a flat, coherent frequency response without the need for further optimisation.
The filtering acts directly on the time and phase alignment of the DCX354's midrange and treble sections, guaranteeing a smooth transition between the two diaphragms and a stable sound image, whatever the sound pressure level.
The cut-off frequency of 5.6 kHz is based on a precise compromise between energy distribution, distortion control and overall sensitivity.
The asymmetrical slopes of 18 dB/octave and 12 dB/octave ensure effective separation while preserving tonal coherence, with no hollows or artificial accentuation in the crossover zone. This architecture enables the system to maintain a smooth, natural response, even at high levels.
