The BAE 11-slot Rack is the ideal rack chassis for your 500 Series modules. This rack avoids PCBs and uses shielded wires on the individual connectors, which makes maintenance easier.
The BAE11 is equipped with XLR inputs and outputs, mounted on a robust steel chassis. Each 500 Series module installs in an empty slot in your rack (some modules can extend over 2 or even 3 slots), and the rack chassis are available in many configurations, ranging from 2 to 10 slots.
The chassis that houses the 500 Series modules is not only a box that allows them to be racked, but it is above all their power supply and their main I/O, generally comprising multichannel DB-25 connectors or discrete balanced I/O such as XLR or TRS jack connectors.
