The Boss BIC-PC-3 asks a simple question: why wire three identical links with three cables of different origins?
Three units of the same cable means three identical internal resistors in series. The oxygen-free copper conductor is the same on each section - the signal does not pass through heterogeneous materials whose electrical characteristics diverge at high frequencies. The robust braided shield covers each link with the same electromagnetic protection density - there are no weak points that allow power supply interference to pass through a single connection. The woven outer sheath holds the permanent bend of each patch without stiffening at the joints. The custom-designed angled 6.35mm jack connectors, with their 24K gold-plated contacts, emerge flat against the side of the pedals on all three links - the lateral footprint remains constant, the platter retains its geography.
