The CROM is a 'Fuzzstortion' in the same style as the BC184 Supa Tone Bender as the original Olympia, but with a classic tweed amp-style tone control that interacts with the gain control. It suffers MUCH less loss than the classic tone control usually found on Muff, giving it an immediate, punchy response.

Presentation
Two modes, standard and turbo (switch on the side of the pedal), are available for adjusting the gain range and frequency response.
Activating Turbo mode when using Crom on clean amps or clean channels will give a complete explosion of gain and power.
When using the Crom in combination with other drives or on crunchier amps, remove the Turbo so that the bass response is tighter and the pedal acts more like a classic 1970s drive/sustainer.
Inside the pedal is a small potentiometer for adjusting the bias/gate of the unit, for different sounds or noise reduction.
