The Morley Lerxst ATWAS Wah Volume effects pedal, developed in collaboration with Alex Lifeson, combines the expressive tone of an optical wah with a gradual volume boost in a single unit. In Wah mode, its adjustable boost of up to +20 dB enhances the attack and makes solos stand out. An LED indicates when the effect is active, whilst the buffer circuit preserves the electric guitar signal as it travels through the effects chain.

Presentation
The Morley Lerxst ATWAS Wah Volume effects pedal puts volume and wah ‘scream’ control at your feet in a single unit, featuring Alex Lifeson’s signature design for the Lerxst series. Its progressive audio curve varies the level as the pedal is rocked, without any sudden jumps.
In Wah mode, the boost – adjustable up to +20 dB – helps solos cut through the mix. The buffer circuit preserves the electric guitar signal, and Morley’s silent switching prevents clicking when the pedal is engaged.
The bespoke inductor gives the Wah its character, and the optical design replaces the potentiometer track with a beam of light. The cold-rolled steel casing can withstand the rigours of live performances.
The phosphorescent contact coating remains visible in the dark, and the LED confirms that the effect is active. The footswitch activates the Wah with a firm press. Measuring 174 x 114 x 63.5 mm, the pedal takes up little space on the pedalboard.
Morley has been making its mark since 1974 with its electro-optical wah-wah and volume pedals. Compact versions were introduced in 1984, followed in 1994 by a wah-wah pedal without a traditional footswitch. The Lerxst ATWAS continues this legacy in collaboration with Alex Lifeson, adopting the Tel-Ray aesthetic and combining Wah-Wah, volume and Boost in a single unit.
This model offers a choice of power supply: a 9 V battery or a mains adaptor (sold separately).
