The CS-100A EL34 Black from Cayin is a hi-fi stereo tube amplifier designed for audiophiles looking for electronics capable of efficiently powering a large number of loudspeakers.
Its architecture is based on eight EL34 tubes combined with a set of tubes dedicated to the various amplification stages, delivering power of up to 2 x 80 watts in ultra-linear mode. This power reserve means it can be used with both floorstanding and compact loudspeakers.
One of its main assets is its dual operating mode. The triode mode delivers up to 2 x 50 watts and favours warm reproduction with a full sound image. The ultra-linear mode, meanwhile, offers more power and greater extension in the low frequencies, allowing the listening experience to be adapted to the speakers used and the user's preferences.
Connections include three RCA line inputs and a direct stereo input, enabling the power stage to be used with an external preamplifier. Two subwoofer outputs also make it easy to integrate one or more subwoofers into a hi-fi installation.
