Cayin presents the CS-55A EL34 Silver, a neat entry into the world of tube amplification without compromising on versatility. Equipped with four EL34 output tubes, plus 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes, the CS-55A delivers the warm, textured sound that tube fans are looking for.
Two operating modes allow you to adapt the sound to suit your needs: Triode mode offers a full, enveloping sound image at 22 W, while Ultra-linear mode extends the bass response and goes up to 40 W per channel to drive floorstanding speakers without difficulty.
The connectivity is designed for contemporary use: a USB-B input accepts PCM audio streams up to 32 bits / 384 kHz, compatible with Windows and Mac, for listening to both high-resolution files and streaming services. The integrated RIAA phono preamp can be used directly with a vinyl turntable with MM cartridge, and the 6.35 mm headphone output can be used with the most demanding models.
With a signal-to-noise ratio of 92 dB and a frequency response of 5 Hz to 44 kHz, the CS-55A EL34 Silver is a complete integrated amplifier, capable of centralising all your sources in a single elegant device.
