The Cayin CS-845A Reference Silver is a valve integrated amplifier designed for hi-fi enthusiasts seeking a nuanced and natural sound reproduction. Operating in pure Class A, it delivers 2 x 24 W RMS and is based on a design utilising 6SN7, 300B and 845 tubes, selected for their musical qualities and their ability to reproduce the finest details of the recording.
One of its distinctive features is its adjustable feedback system. This function allows the amplifier’s sound character to be tailored to listening preferences. The 0 dB mode prioritises transparency and precision, whilst the -3 dB setting favours a smoother, more fluid sound reproduction.
The CS-845A Référence Silver features three RCA line inputs as well as a Pre-In input, allowing it to be used as a power amplifier. The 4- and 8-ohm compatible terminals make it easy to pair with a wide range of speakers. A dedicated headphone output, powered by a dedicated transformer, completes the setup for headphone listening.
It is built using high-quality components, including an Alps potentiometer, carbon resistors and a toroidal transformer, contributing to the stability and reliability of the unit.
