Presentation
The Cayin HA-6A MK2 Black is a valve headphone amplifier designed for users who want to enjoy dedicated amplification with great flexibility. Its dual-chassis design physically separates the power supply from the audio circuitry to reduce interference and preserve signal quality.
Fitted with JJ 12AU7/ECC82, Genalex KT88 or Electro-Harmonix EL34EH and RCA 22DE4 tubes, it offers two operating modes: Triode and Ultra-linear. This selection allows the amplifier’s behaviour to be adapted to listening preferences and the characteristics of the headphones used.
The HA-6A MK2 Black features three impedance settings for headphones ranging from 8 to 600 ohms, ensuring precise adaptation to different models. Its connectivity includes a 6.35 mm jack output, a 4.4 mm balanced output and a 4-pin XLR output, as well as RCA and XLR inputs for integration into various audio setups.
Capable of delivering up to 4.5 W per channel in Ultra-Linear mode with KT88 tubes, it offers a power reserve suitable for a wide variety of headphones. Its frequency response of 10 Hz to 65 kHz completes a package designed for demanding headphone listening.
