The Cayin MT50 Plus KT88 Silver is an integrated valve amplifier designed for users seeking a combination of musicality, versatility and ease of use. Its design is based on four KT88 tubes configured in a push-pull arrangement, complemented by a 25AX4GT RCA rectifier tube and three 5BK7A tubes. This architecture delivers up to 2 x 40 watts in ultra-linear mode or 2 x 21 watts in triode mode.
One of its key strengths is the ability to choose between two amplification modes. Triode mode favours a warm, textured sound, whilst ultra-linear mode offers greater power and a wider bass response. This flexibility makes it easier to adapt the amplifier to your speakers and listening preferences.
Hand-built, the MT50 Plus KT88 Silver features point-to-point wiring and a toroidal transformer specially developed to minimise interference. Its frequency response of 10 Hz to 50 kHz helps preserve the audio signal’s detail.
For easy integration into a modern Hi-Fi system, it features three RCA inputs and a Bluetooth receiver compatible with SBC, AAC and aptX, allowing wireless music streaming from a smartphone, tablet or computer.
