DAC Audio USB
Cayin offers the Pearl 30D, a USB audio DAC that incorporates two distinct conversion architectures, with a ‘Classic’ mode and a ‘Modern’ mode that can be selected either automatically or manually. Its design utilises eight ESS ES9039SPRO DACs in Modern mode and a TDA1307/TDA1547 architecture in Classic mode to adapt processing to different audio formats. Compatible with PCM up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512, it features a separate external power supply and a 10 MHz OCXO clock to optimise signal stability.

Presentation
The Cayin Pearl 30D is a digital-to-analogue converter designed around a dual-system decoding architecture. It offers a Classic mode and a Modern mode, each utilising dedicated components to adapt signal processing to different audio formats. The user can either let the device automatically select the appropriate mode or choose it manually according to their preferences.
Classic mode utilises an architecture comprising a TDA1307 and two TDA1547s configured in mono mode within a balanced differential circuit. Modern mode utilises eight ESS ES9039SPRO DACs, with four converters per channel. This configuration is complemented by a discrete analogue stage operating in pure Class A.
Compatible with PCM streams up to 32-bit / 768 kHz as well as DSD512 files, the Cayin Pearl 30D supports the most demanding high-resolution audio sources. Its 10 MHz OCXO clock helps to synchronise the various circuits, whilst the jitter reduction system contributes to the stability of the digital signal.
The dual-chassis design physically separates the DAC from its external power supply. The latter utilises dedicated transformers, as well as filtering and regulation circuits, designed to provide a stable power supply to the various electronic stages.
With its USB-B, HDMI I2S, AES/EBU, coaxial and optical inputs, the Cayin Pearl 30D integrates easily into a modern hi-fi system. Its RCA and XLR outputs allow for simple connection to a compatible hi-fi preamplifier or power amplifier.
