Presentation
The CS-55A EL34 Black is a tube integrated amplifier designed by Cayin to combine audio performance and versatility in a single unit. Its power stage is based on four EL34 tubes combined with 12AU7 and 12AX7 tubes, a configuration renowned for its rich, natural music reproduction.
To adapt to different listening styles and loudspeakers, the CS-55A EL34 Black offers two operating modes. The Triode mode delivers 22 W per channel for a softer, more immersive sound reproduction, while the Ultra-linear mode boosts power to 40 W per channel for a more dynamic reproduction.
Designed to accommodate a wide range of sources, it incorporates a digital-to-analogue converter accessible via its USB-B input. This supports high-resolution PCM streams up to 32-bit / 384 kHz from a Windows or Mac computer. Vinyl fans also benefit from an integrated MM phono preamplifier for direct connection to a compatible turntable.
A front-panel headphone output completes the package for individual listening. With a frequency response of 5 Hz to 44 kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio of 92 dB, the CS-55A EL34 Black is a complete hi-fi solution for centralising several audio sources.
