Drawmer - MX60-Pro Channel-Strip

The MX60-Pro, from Drawmer, is a studio channel strip designed to process audio sources through a complete signal chain prior to recording or broadcast, integrating several essential tools into a single rack-mounted module tailored for studio and live sound applications.

It features a preamp, a VCA compressor, an adaptive gate, a de-esser, a limiter and an EQ section, giving you comprehensive control over the signal with a clear, musical and consistent approach for every sound setup.

It also features a high-impedance instrument input on the front panel, suitable for guitars, basses, synthesisers or drum machines requiring a direct, stable and faithful connection, delivering natural and detailed reproduction to preserve musical nuances.

The dynamics section utilises Drawmer’s Programme Adaptive circuitry to automatically adjust certain parameters based on the behaviour of the processed signal, with a gate, de-esser and compressor designed to maintain a smooth response throughout the various stages of audio processing.

Its VCA compressor provides consistent level control, with ratio, threshold and gain settings that allow for precise adjustment of sound variations and overall dynamics throughout the various stages of music production.

The parametric equaliser enables precise shaping of the timbre thanks to low- and high-frequency shelving filters, as well as a fully parametric mid-range band, suited to fine-tuning during advanced sound design stages with great precision.
This design facilitates both subtle adjustments and more pronounced sonic choices, with an AIR range extending up to 16 kHz to enhance the presence of sources during audio work and refine every recorded nuance.

Tubesound technology delivers harmonic saturation inspired by classic valve circuits, with three independent bands to adjust the warmth and character of the processed signal according to the desired sound, with precision and finesse.
